This is some footage shot with the Vivitar 50-170mm macro Zoom lens. I am amazed at the quality from this lens. It beats the 50mm Nikon Nikkor I have. It produces a crisper image and is so easy to focus thanks to it's fluid movement. An absolute bargain for £16 from eBay! I used a DIY 35mm DoF adapter together with a damaged EE-S focusing screen (badly scratched). All footage was shot indoors with natural afternoon light. It was filmed using the Canon HV20 in progressive mode at 1/50. In the last scene, I changed from progressive into AV mode. This changed the shutter speed to 1/250, and you can clearly see the effect of rolling shutter thanks to the damage on the EE-S.
